Completion of the acquisition of a portfolio of 6 PV parks with a total capacity of 110 MW in Kozani

HELLENiQ ENERGY Holdings S.A. announces that its wholly owned subsidiary HELLENiQ Renewables, completed successfully the acquisition of a portfolio of 6 PV parks in Kozani, Greece, with a total capacity of 110 MW from LIGHTSOURCE RENEWABLE ENERGY GREECE HOLDINGS (UK) LIMITED.

These parks are now commercially operational and benefit from long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with a major international group. The estimated annual production of renewable electricity from the projects is 175 GWh, equivalent to the annual electricity needs of 41,000 households, while the benefit of CO2 emissions avoidance amounts to 98,000 tons per year.

This agreement increases the total operating capacity of HELLENiQ Renewables’ to 500 MW in total, thereby accelerating the implementation of HELLENiQ ENERGY Group's strategic objective to achieve at least 1 GW of installed capacity from renewable energy sources (RES) by 2026 and more than 2 GW by 2030.
