HELLENiQ ENERGY Hosts Postgraduate Students from the Athens University of Economics and Business

Emphasizing the role of Human Resources in Establishing a strong Health and Safety culture. As part of their visit, students participated in an interactive workshop, where they had the opportunity to present their proposals to the Group’s executives.

HELLENiQ ENERGY executives highlighted the vital role of Human Resources in shaping a Health and Safety culture during discussions with postgraduate students from the Human Resource Management program at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), who visited the Group’s headquarters.

As part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening ties with the academic community, HELLENiQ ENERGY’s Human Resources Division of hosted a group of 35 students, accompanied by Professor Maria Vakola, Director of the Postgraduate Program., This initiative is designed to bridge the gap between academia, postgraduate students, and the job market.

Addressing the AUEB students, Mr. Alexandros Tzadimas, Group’s Group Human Resources & Administrative Services General Manager , stated:
"Employee Health and Safety is our Group’s top priority because it is directly linked to employee well-being and, ultimately, business success. In an organization with intense and complex industrial operations, HELLENiQ ENERGY’s management has set clear and measurable goals to maintain a safe working environment. To this end, we undertake targeted initiatives and continuously enhance our actions across all activities to ensure that our daily operations prioritize safety and the continuous improvement of related performance. The role of HR in providing safe working conditions is crucial."

During the visit, students attended a session at HELLENiQ Academy, where company executives shared their knowledge, experience, and best practices for cultivating a strong Health and Safety culture. The Health, Safety, Environment & Sustainable Development Division also presented an overview of the Group’s overall strategy and key initiatives in this domain

The visit included an interactive workshop, where students worked in teams to develop and present proposals on embedding Health and Safety principles into the Group’s daily operations.

Additionally, the AUEB students gained insights into HELLENiQ ENERGY’s leading role in the energy sector of Southeastern Europe. They were introduced to the company’s Vision strategic plan, which focuses on energy transformation and green transition. Speakers highlighted the company’s commitment to continuously developing its workforce, equipping employees with competitive advantages in the job market -—one of the key factors positioning HELLENiQ ENERGY among the top and most attractive employers in the industry.
