1 minuteHellenic Petroleum was the exclusive sponsor of the reconstruction of the forecourt area and the playground, which jointly share the 1st and 6th Kindergarten of the Municipality Ampelokipoi-Menemeni in Thessaloniki.
The inauguration took place at midday Thursday, January 28, in the event venue of the two kindergartens, from a representative of the Metropolis of Neapolis and Stavroupolis. Present at the event, aside from teachers, young students and their parents, were the Mayor of Ampelokipoi-Menemeni, Lazarus Kyrizoglou, Deputy Mayor for Social Protection, Education, Sports & Culture, Aphrodite Nalbantidou, representatives of local authorities and enterprises in the region and executives of Hellenic Petroleum.
During his brief speech at the inauguration ceremony, the Senior Director of Hellenic Petroleum Industrial Installations in Thessaloniki, Nikos Zahariades, said: "We believe that we help the municipalities that surround us -and not only there- with continuous work and corporate social responsibility actions. But we promise that we will continue to help our society and thereby support our country. "
The project was implemented with the strictest specifications and all materials used in the reconstruction of the courtyard space of two kindergartens were selected with environmental criteria and the required certification.
