Hellenic Petroleum Group of Companies is organizing a game of basketball, at which solidarity will be the undisputed winner and an offering of love for Refugees the end result.
«Humanism scores a 3-pointer» will take place on the following Tuesday at the indoor basketball stadium of «Gouva» in Eleusina, where the basketball team of Hellenic Petroleum will welcome an ALL-STAR team that comprises several veterans of Greek basketball, as well as favorite singers, popular actors & journalists.
In a game where «intense» emotions can be guaranteed, the employees of HELLENIC PETROLEUM Group of Companies will offer «solidarity-baskets» for the Refugees that are located in our country and will collect:
Food (dried foods, snacks, powdered milk, baby food in large jars, regular tea, juices, croissants, raisins, nuts and biscuits)
- Medicines
Personal hygiene items (baby wipes, tissues, toilet paper, baby diapers, shaving razors, pads, toothbrushes, toothpastes, shampoos, shower gels, soap)
As for the game, it will certainly be a big show!
The members of the basketball team of HELLENIC PETROLEUM train under the guidance of George Kalafatakis. The coach refuses to reveal his final selections regarding players and systems. However, he has promised surprises and in order to achieve them, the assistant coach of his team will be Vassilis Petrou.
It goes without saying that the opposing team comprises some «talented» basketball players as, such as:

The veteran team will be coached by the experienced Memos Ioanou, with Tolis Kotzias, a sports reporter, as his assistant and Akis Papadakis, a former coach and player of Pagrati, as the team manager. The «guest team» has promised bigsurprises that will appear on court at the last minute, coming from...the music and acting industry!!! Singer and former player of Ampelokipoi, Miltos Pashalidis, as well as actor and singer Panos Mouzourakis are just two of the names that have been leaked.
But because life has proven to be full of unforeseen circumstances, any last minute additions or absences to the teams will be announced in a new Press Release.
