Already, in 2018, being then one of the six Greek participations and the only energy company among them, HELLENiQ ENERGY took part for the first time in the CDP disclosure process, ranking above average in the Oil & Gas Sector. Since then, the company has been improving its score every year, achieving in 2022 to rise to the highest Leadership category of CDP (A-), which is an important recognition of the Group's strategy and performance to tackle climate change.
CDP is the largest program for collection and evaluation of data on greenhouse gas emissions and power consumption, as well as for evaluation of the companies’ response to climate change risks and opportunities. It should be noted that in 2018, CDP integrated questions from the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosure (TCFD), which focus on climate change risks for companies.
